2nd Annual Hutt River Festival

The Kaitoke Gorge team race is Saturday, 2 Oct. followed with a post-race BBQ at the Hutt Valley Canoe Club Clubhouse.

The festivities will continue at the Kaitoke Regional Park Campground in the evening.

There will be an individual race on Sunday morning.

Event Details:

Comaraderie, whitewater, camping, and all around good times. Come join us for any and all of the Hutt River Festival events.

FRIDAY

Camping at Kaitoke Regional Park, Campsite #4.

SATURDAY

9:00am-KAITOKE GORGE TEAM RACE
This is the main event hosted by Hutt Valley Canoe Club, the prestigious and long running (52 years) team races. Registration at 9:00 race start at 10:00.

2:30ish, after the team race.
BBQ and Shield presentation at the HVCC clubhouse.

5:00ish or anytime after the BBQ.

Camping and a party at campsite #4 in Kaitoke Regional park. This a very loose “festival.” Really it is just a bunch of whitewater people camping out. Bring your musical instruments, camping gear, food and beverages, firewood, and $8 for camping fees.

SUNDAY

9:00am Individual Kayak Race
